Australia internet User Statistics

According to the Australian government, Australian Internet subscribers now number 5.98 million. There has been a increase in broadband users and a drop in dial-up subscribers as expected. But the drop is fairly low and some Australians home are still connected through dial-up . Data download speeds are attracting users to shift to gain access to broadband content.

Growth in US Broadband Usage Grows

The 60% level has finally been broken in the US but growth is slower.This level of broadband growth is still slow compared to the 74.5% in Britain. Penetration is slowing down in the US but this does take into account that more people are connecting themselves to Internet wireless services which may have some effect on the growth of broadband in the US.
